The Ancient Warriors Series commemorates the most recognizable military helmets in world history. The series was launched in 2021 with a coin dedicated to the Kabuto helmet of the Japanese Samurai, followed by a release celebrating the Corinthian style headwear of the Spartan warriors of ancient Greece.
This 2022 dated, third installment of the series, features the Great Helm worn by Crusading Knights in the Holy Land in the 11th-13th centuries. The 2022 Crusaders Knight Helmet coin is struck from 2 Troy oz. of .999 fine silver.
The dramatically shaped coin measures 33.0 x 50.0 mm. The coin features an exquisite hand applied antiqued finish. The coin represents the third release of the Ancient Warrior Series. The two dollar denomination coin is legal tender of the Republic of Fiji.
The coin will ship in its original Mint package with an Authenticity Certificate. Mintage is limited to a mere 500 pieces.
